(1): الطباق: هو الجمع بين المتضادين في الكلام.
مثال: قال تعالى: “وأنه هو أضحك وأبكى”.
(2): المقابلة: وهي أن يؤتى فى الكلام بمعنيين متوافقين أو أكثر.
مثال: مقابلة أربعة بأربعة: “فأما من أعطى واتقى وصدق بالحسنى فسنيسره ليسرى، وأما من بخل واستغنى وكذب بالحسنى فسنيسره للعسرى”.
(3): السجع: هو توافق الفاصلتين أو الفواصل من النثر على حرف واحد وهو الحرف الأخير.
مثال: (اللهم أعط منفقًا خلفًا، وأعط ممسكاً تلفًا).
(4): الجناس: هو أن يتشابه اللفظان فى اللفظ، ويختلفان فى المعنى.
مثال: صليت المغرب في المغرب، جاءت لفظة المغرب مرتين، كان معناها في الأولى (الصلاة)، وفي الثانية (البلد).
(5): التورية: هي لفظ يتفق ظاهره مع رغبة السامع، ولكن المتكلم ينوى به أمرًا آخر.
مثال: قال تعالى: “حتى يعطوا الجزية عن يد وهم صاغرون”، المعنى القريب لكلمة (يد)، الجارحة المعروفة، والمعنى البعيد: الذلة والمسكنة.
